clouds over london

Well, here I am.
"Looks like we made it", Manilow said.
But who is 'we'?
Who cares.
Anyhow, I am living in a new city, and it is wholly exciting. As I was walking down the halls of our apartment building a moment ago, I felt like attempting a cartwheel. Really.
These buildings remind me of the ones from Foymount, which Antoni and I explored. Likely because they look equally hideous from the outside. But inside here, there is still life, and I love it.
And things are only getting better come October when both Maggie and Scott come to town. Woo hoo!
I am hoping to meet some new, exciting people, too. I am planning on staying in London for the next two years I think, and am going to need more of a posse.
I don't expect to meet many in my classes (since I just realized that most of my sessions are in affiliated colleges, and I feel very... uncomfortable there). Rather, I am hoping to meet a lot of people via the clubs I join, like the outdoors club, and maybe the photography club, or the fantasy club, or the english club or the sad-bastard-personal-website club... We'll see where I end up.
I wish there were a club where I could discuss music, yet not have any inclination towards musical talent. Hmm, perhaps that would be an MTV club? BWA HA HA!
I love this place, though. The city has endeared itself to me, and I think this weekend we are going to look for a nice bar. Not a club, the London club scene is questionable, but a nice bar. Next week, I think I am going to see Matthew Good! Exclamation! Greasy lunatic!
Oh, and the kitchen is already filthy in typical blue and fishy style ('j/k' :-b). Hee hee. And my room feels a lot like it did on Hickory, except I am without Lord Josh's throne. Hee hee. I hope he Febrezed that thing when he moved back in.
Hee hee!
Life is glorious! Let's keep it that way!
(ps- my vegetarian diet is going two days strong, and I am totally KARMA FREE!)
