objects in mirror

When I took this picture, the sky looked like watercolours. There was a snake on the ground, not sure if he wanted me around. I was standing in front of a creek, before what was once a rail bridge, but what is now two crumbling overgrown stone walls. It was all very "The World I Know"-ish.

Then I developed it (by that I mean, uploaded it) and noticed that the sky in my photo looked scarred and broken. Does it not look like it has underwent a skin graft procedure? Like the great beyond has been restructured after a crippling accident. Like someone decided to replace the sky's facial moisturizer with gravel.

It's got the Squall Leonhart scar vertically up the forehead, parting the eyes which are glazed, or swollen. Whatever.

This is not an allegory for my confused, world, rather something I find interesting. The technology that is my camera always seems to want to dull the world I know by my own two eyes.

An e-mail from Maggie made me think about the sky again, about how it must be my favourite aspect of nature. It is like a picture in Hogwarts, constantly in motion, a million different works of art from one day to the next.

And then, cornily enough, I realize that everybody I have ever known, rests underneath the very same sky. So, that is one thing we all have in common.

I lack inspiration, too. I mean, I have some, but it doesn't really fit here. If you people don't mind, I may toss the original pimpHAT philosophy aside, and focus more on text for the next little bit. So, until I get some inspiring pictures, no more pictures.
