I wonder if fishy will go another month without updating? I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate me talking about him as if he were not reading, but it was his daily devotion to his website that inspired me to begin in the first place.

So it goes.

Over the years I have posted some questionable content online. Over the years I have also engaged in a fair bit of self-deprecation. But I am happy with the- ahem- empire I have built here. I don't plan on leaving it behind anytime soon, let me tell you. We all know the 'HAT is wearing me.

Life is full of all kinds of setbacks. Lord knows mine has been in just the past week alone. But... whatever, whatever. I'm still alive, she said. And I still have my mind, for forty more years, at least.

As long as I have life, and something in my head, there isn't anything I can do.

So, maybe I am over the brim with pride. Yes, pride was what destroyed Magincia in Ultima. But destruction can be beautiful.
