I'm thinking tonight, as I tread the poverty line, as I the water in the city's aqueduct, that depriving yourself of things may be fun.

When you can't afford much more than food, you are left with no distractions, no fancy little toys and shiny objects to distract the mind.

And, I mean, don't we all need to feel this? Failure, in some ways, is success. Because at failure, you are at your most pure, your most human.

Hence, then, you are alive, which is certainly better than being rich. Of course, this is now like a fire lit in my head, a burning drive to be rich AND alive.

And have fun doing it. And fulfill dreams.
